3D Slicer In My Language
3D Slicer is an open-source software platform for medical imaging data analysis, 3D visualization, and image-guided therapy used around the world. However, the application is only available in English. Through funding support from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), we have created the 3D Slicer Internationalization initiative to ensure that scientists, researchers, and students worldwide can realize the full potential of the platform.
3D Slicer Dakar Workshop
The objective of the 3D Slicer Workshop in Dakar is to introduce the latest version of 3D Slicer to the scientific and medical community of French-speaking countries in Africa. The event is organized in a series of workshops allowing participants to become familiar with loading DICOM data into Slicer, image segmentation and 3D visualization. All workshop sessions are taught in French.
